Concept

This prestigious work is part of RELICS: The Last Cut, the curatorial line of The Frame Beyond dedicated to what remains when the final act is complete. Not the action. Not the myth. The aftermath.

Inspired by John Carpenter's timeless 1978 masterpiece, the work extracts the legendary figure of Michael Myers (“The Shape”) from the big screen to solidify it in physical space as a totemic, monumental stage presence charged with primordial tension.

The Work

The dramatic core of the composition is marked by a perfect dialogue between the killer's spectral face and its exclusive display base:

  • Michael Myers' Head: A faithful and obsessive reproduction of the pale latex mask, with black eye sockets sunken in darkness, the unmistakable bleeding wound on the left side, crimson micro-splashes, and a textured hairstyle finished strand by strand that captures the original aesthetic of the 1978 film.
  • The Iconic Base (Halloween 1978 Poster): A majestic shaped display base (20 × 20 cm) that meticulously reproduces the famous Jack-o’-lantern from the cult 1978 poster, with carved segments and the iconic bloody kitchen knife blade stuck beside it.
