What remains of icons
What remains after the final image.
Not the character.
Not the scene.
The aftermath.
RELICS: LAST ICON collects what survives when an icon ceases to exist as an image and becomes an object.
Not a celebration.
Not a tribute.
Relics.
Figures that have traversed time, reduced to their final form.
Stripped of context, narrative, and movement.
Here, the icon does not manifest.
It concludes.
Each work is conceived as an endpoint:
it does not represent what was, but what remains after becoming recognizable.
A cultural fragment.
An immobile presence.
Each work of RELICS: LAST ICON is:
designed as an autonomous object
handcrafted and hand-painted in The Frame Beyond studio
intended to evoke memory, distance, and permanence
It does not celebrate the icon.
It marks its end.
It is not representation.
It is what remains.
