Concept
This wall sculpture combines two iconic symbols: the red balloon and a smile that promises nothing good. The face surfaces like an artifact, suspended between irony and terror, fixed in a moment that leaves no way out.
The Work
Entirely hand-painted, the work is conceived to function as a definitive frame: not a decoration, but a presence. The balloon becomes a narrative support, a living surface, an element of tension.
