This tribute to Jason Voorhees from Friday the 13th Part III is part of the curatorial line RELICS: The Last Cut: the dimension of The Frame Beyond reserved for what survives when the last blow has been struck.
It is not a decoration. It is a totemic artifact that breaks the fourth wall and inhabits your space with a solemn and incorruptible disquiet.
Work Features
- Dual Exposure & Removable Mask: The iconic hockey mask—featuring three red chevrons, wear texture, and calibrated holes—is fully detachable. Removing it reveals Jason's raw cranial deformity: necrotic grooves, irregular dentition, and a merciless expression, finished with contrasting glossy accents to simulate fresh blood and moist flesh.
- Broken Double Blade Base: The bust is structurally integrated onto a base composed of two fragmented machete blades, treated with oxidation effects, material rust, and the 3D embossed inscription JASON engraved and finished in dark blood color.
- Independent Display Stand: The mask rests on its dedicated vertical support, whose monolithic base bears the embossed logo "FRIDAY THE 13TH PART 3", allowing for multiple display configurations (mask worn on the face or placed alongside as an autonomous artifact).
