RELICS: The Last Cut - Jason Voorhees
This work is part of RELICS: The Last Cut, the curatorial line by The Frame Beyond dedicated to what remains when the act is already complete.
The Jason Voorhees bust is not a representation in motion, but a relic: a fragment that survived the violence.
The head, brutally severed, reveals a fragment of a broken spine, a recurring element in all RELICS: the breaking point between what was alive and what is condemned to remain.
There is no movement here.
There is no pursuit.
There is silence.
Sculpted textures, weathered surfaces, and a dirty, matte finish transform Jason from a slasher icon into a totemic object, disturbing and definitive.
Each piece is created through high-precision 3D printing and is entirely hand-finished and painted in our studio in Italy.
No two works are identical.
Drips, textures, and chromatic variations make every RELIC unique.
The Essence of the Relic
- Fixity of Terror: The hockey mask not as an object, but as the definitive face of an endless hunt.
- State of Stillness: The relic captures the moment when the fury has subsided, leaving only matter.
