Concept
Directly from the biomechanical imagery of H.R. Giger, this piece from the Nightmares in Frame collection captures the perfect predator at the moment of violation. While the Xenomorph's silhouette remains fused in the darkness of the frame, the matter breaks its boundary: the head and jaws physically project toward the observer, transforming the work into a breached threshold.
The Work
In this creation, the surface of the frame is not a limit, but a yielding membrane. The work is designed to create an immediate visual interference: the creature's dark, glossy structure emerges from the deep black, bringing the tension of a close encounter into your real space.
