This artwork is part of RELICS: The Last Cut, the curatorial line of The Frame Beyond dedicated to what survives when the final act has already been accomplished. Not the origin. Not the possession. The aftermath.

The exact moment the ancient rite is consumed, flesh yields to the abyss, and the presence of evil is forever fixed in a totemic exhibition relic. Here there is no fiction: there is matter, sacrilege, and a visceral presence that challenges the viewer.

Artwork Features & Author Details

• Scenic Base “Book of Exorcisms” (18 × 12 cm): The bust rests on a solid base faithfully reproducing the liturgical grimoire in glossy red with blood-like veins and sacrilegious ritual reliefs.
• Organic Support & Inverted Spine: At the base of the severed neck, the spine transforms into a branched organic support that anchors directly onto the consecrated volume.
• Hand-Applied Realistic Hair: Realistic synthetic hair implanted and manually worked, with disheveled tufts contaminated by possession secretions.
• Deformed Expression & Blood Finishes: Penetrating demonic eyes, deep cuts and wounds on the face, decaying teeth, and glossy enamels to simulate green drool and fresh blood.
• Multi-Layered Pictorial Treatment: Hand-painted with professional primers, high-pigmentation acrylics, oil washes, and a double-layer matte/gloss protective finish.

Each relic is created in our artistic laboratory in Italy through a rigorous manufacturing process:

• High-Resolution 3D Printing: Made with high-density bio-synthetic techno-polymers to capture every minimal furrow, wrinkle, and skin laceration.
• Precision Manual Finishing: Sanding and artisanal modeling to enhance anatomical volumes and the realism of wounds.
• Multi-Layer Artisanal Painting: Layering of colors and chiaroscuro nuances to recreate the waxy and bruised complexion typical of possession.
• Unique Collector's Item: Entirely manual execution makes each piece unrepeatable with exclusive details and nuances.
